Devlog #1 – Demo v0.1.1

Hey, I’m Punkde, and this is my first game!

With this demo (v0.1.1), my goal was to implement all the basic mechanics for a game centered around choices, management, and the corruption of Ren (the protagonist) throughout the story.  

What’s in this version/demo?

Basic game lore

A day system – Divided into 7 days of the week, each with 3 phases (Morning, Afternoon, Night). This will allow for different events or scenes to trigger depending on the time or day. The game also tracks total days passed.  

4 available scenes – 1 work scene, 2 hospital events, and 1 with Mister Pig. There’s also a mini-scene when using the bathroom (depending on Ren’s bladder level).  

Outfit system – Ren’s sprite changes based on her outfit, including dirt layers if she gets messy!  

NPC interactions – Some NPCs react differently based on Ren’s current outfit.  

Photo collection – Photos are scattered around the map (4 available now, more coming later). Talk to The Stranger to start the hunt!  

Internet Posts (some with images) – Updates on city events or Ren’s experiences. Currently, 3 at the start + 1 unlockable.  

Energy & Lust system – Tied directly to gameplay mechanics.  

Base stats – Tracks Ren’s actions and progress.  

...and probably more stuff I forgot to mention!

Future Plans

I have a ton of ideas building on these foundations, such as:  

NPCs reacting to Ren’s dirtiness (currently, they only react to outfits).  

Time/day-specific events (certain scenes only on specific days or times).  

More jobs, NPCs, scenes—more of everything!

The game will heavily focus on player choices, influencing Ren’s relationships, routes, and endings.

Bugs & Fixes

Since releasing this version, I’ve already found and fixed several bugs (like the disease not curing properly💢).
