Version 0.1.2

This is the second version of the game, and honestly, it’s a special one. It includes a bunch of features you suggested in the comments and some new events/scenes, thank you so much for all the feedback!

What's New?

A real map!

This is definitely the biggest addition so far. You can now open the map anytime by pressing M. It took a long time to get it working, but it was worth it!

The system is designed to easily support:

Multiple maps (currently only Emerald City),

Hidden/secret locations,

Unlockable areas,

Icons for events and more.

Gallery Room!

Thanks to Inktoberfest22, there’s now a place to revisit scenes and events you’ve unlocked.

Note: If you’ve already seen the toilet or vaccine/nurse events, you’ll need to view them again to unlock them in the gallery. All other events should unlock automatically if you've already seen them.

Hide/Show Message Window

You can now hide the message window with Right Click or H! This lets you enjoy the artwork without any UI in the way.

Weather Effects + Clouds

There are now moving clouds on the map, they don’t do anything, but they look cool. 😎

Also, there's now a chance of rain each day, and I can easily add more visual effects in the future thanks to this system.

New Activities + Events!

Arcade: Play games to pass time and refill energy. Includes a new event!

Public Pool: Relax and recharge and also see a new event!

I plan to expand the pool area with more content in future updates.

Social Media Update

A new post appears after the new events, one includes a picture.

There’s now a notification icon for when there’s a new message on social media.

New Collectibles

4 new photos to find hidden around the map!

Photo 4’s location has been changed.

QoL and Bug Fixes

Waitress job: No more limits! you can now work as many times as you want!

Wardrobe crash on JoiPlay: Fixed! Thanks to 0-9ax for the report.

Sickness bug: If you were stuck being sick forever, that’s fixed now.

Talk to the new Shady Guy NPC if your save was affected.

Sewer Enemy Changes

Reduced the number of enemies to 2, and now one can be bypassed.

Hospital Event Audio

Added music and sound effects to the hospital events!

HUD Improvements

The energy/lust bars now support changes in maximum values, and they visually scale accordingly. This sets the stage for future upgrades.

City/NPC Updates

Emerald City got updated to reflect all these new features:

Parallax/weather effects,

New Events around the city,

Arcade and pool locations added.
